I vaguely recall there’s a Windows service you need to turn off to stop your ping spiking if you use wireless. Pls, what’s it called?

Windows comes with a service that automatically searches for new wireless providers at regular intervals. Each time performs the check it causes a brief ping spike or “halt.” This program disables the service.
