Mumble Trouble

About two weeks ago I stopped being able to connect to a specific mumble server. I can connect to other mumble servers, just no that one.
Yes, I’ve checked that I have the correct IP several times. Yes I have tried to reinstall mumble. Yes I have tried to flush DNS.
Others can join. I’m not banned. Tried changing name, didn’t work. And what is a murmur log?
Also, it’s the nlpg mumble.

murmur is the name of mumble’s server part. you use mumble to connect to murmur :)
so murmur logs are the logs of the server you try to connect to
I had the same issue before.
the solution for me was changing from IP to name in servername.
Strange fix but that was it. Have you tried it?
Worst case it could be your provider blocking but very unlikely.

That just sounds like the server you tried to connect to moved to a different machine (and thus got a new IP).

One would think that but we checked. Name worked better then IP…should be the other way around imo.
you might be registered with this name. and then you can not change the name if you dont delete your certificate.
delete it and try again!

Have you not been on the nlpg mumble for a long time?
If yes then you might want to know that the IP for it changed some time ago.
New one is: IP=> 109.201.148.199 Port => 20080
Would be worth it to double check if you got the correct connect infos

I was in the mumble, and randomly I got kicked out and it told me “The remote host has closed the connection” or something like that and ever since then I have never been able to connect. And as I said I’ve checked that I got the correct IP and port several times. There’s even a website that takes you right to the mumble channel: http://purplejottedtittles.com/nlpg.html but it doesn’t work for me.
