NVIDIA 320.18 driver dx8

Guys! For me it is working without dat shiny bugs on directx8! Last normal version of nvidia drivers for dx8 was 306! Lets test!
Update: my gpu is msi gtx 660ti tf oc

oh so that’s why my tf2 has been flashing weirdly hmm
is there any particular updates for this? none of the drivers I have seemed to fix it

but after pc restart its back >(
9800 gtx @ 320.18 – works without any bugs on dx8, seems like it is a new nvidia fail that occurs on their newer cards (after constant crashes on dx9 on older ones)

306.97 should be working fine on any cards.. make sure its not auto updating though
320.18 doesn’t fix it for me.

But is there any solution for the auto-updating?
If I just disable updating in the Nvidia options it keeps updating.

windows update updates drivers too
im not sure why its updating for you though, i have set windows and nvidia updates off and dont have “nvidia experience” app installed and im fine
