It’s more efficient at building when switching between targets. I think the cost is easily worth it, built-in autoheal is horrible.

exlpain pls
When you switch between targets, you are not healing – ie you are not building uber.
Using the built-in autoheal function, this time is minimal. The least out of the available options, anyway. Second place goes to scripts that achieve a similar effect and third place to just holding down the mouse button to heal.
skeej did quite an extensive reseach on this many moons ago. Maybe he still has a link to the thread? :)

umm, you can still use the in-game autoheal in conjunction with the scripted one to maximise uber building.

Which one is “the scripted one”?

the one where you start healing people as soon as they walk in front of your cross hair :D
edit: or to be more precise, the one where you stop healing when you press down the mouse button.

Wait what. I always thought this was exactly the other way round. Bugger. Last time I tried the auto heal option it was horrid. That was around 3 years ago. Trying to change target was bad bad bad.

I’m liking the usage of cc_emit and play commands, very creative ^^

Nice, but I don’t see a downside to autoheal yet, not even when healing a demo on the rollout.
so I have no reason to toggle it.
but still a nice option:)

ETF2L isn’t the only provider of match configs in the world :)
UGC doesn’t have limits either. Unless you’re playing on TF2Lobby, why would you have class limits?
Also I love passive aggressive smileys too. :) :) :)

I allways thought that only place it really changes behavior is when ubering ppl. You can switch uber more precisely when autoheal is off. But i still use autoheal cuz lazy and you build uber faster if you switch between targets. So you can do more productive buffing while building, but tradeoff is worse multi ubering

Question,
When I use the config from Spike Himself and put it in the medic config folder. It works perfectly.
But after I used it as medic and I switch to other classes, it is still enbaled. So when I airblast as pyro for instance, it tries to uber and the spawn switching and medigun switch also still works…
How to fix this?
