Its been like that for a few hours now, I googled it but couldn`t find a fix. Help please.

force close steam.exe delete everything from steam dir except steam.exe and steamapps folder and relaunch steam.exe

it redownloaded and is stuck at extracting for 20 mins or so again

It downloaded a 4.5k kb update and is now stuck at extracting for an hours or so again. Why the fuck is it happening to me and noone else fucking fuck steam

I had that as well, I just pressed cancel and started it again, worked fine after that

After canceling it a few times it downloaded another 20k package and is extracting again. WTF
