Whole game is a missing texture

When I join any server, my HUD works fine and I can move around but the whole screen is just a 2-d error texture (the purple-black box thing)
Tried reinstalling etc already, thanks in advance for any help
It’s a long shot but you could try putting this in console
mat_color_projection 0
I got it before when it was a non-zero value
mat_viewportscale 1
