Hey,
Is there a way to increase the volume of the hitsound? (what’s the max value)
Thanks :)
tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg – sets the pitch when doing maximum damage with your weapon,
tf_dingaling_pitchmindmg – sets the pitch when doing minimum damage with your weapon,
tf_dingaling_volume – sets the volume for hit sounds, standard is 1.00

Here are the hitsound related commands, what you need is the volume command:
tf_dingalingaling “1”
tf_dingaling_volume “1”
tf_dingaling_pitchmindmg “255”
tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg “1”
I have to lower my regular volume to to a tenth of that value to hear it properly when using quake 3 hitsound. The command for that is:
volume 0.10
Edit: Wrock beat me to it.

Thanks they are what I’ve currently got, merely wondering if there was a way of making the hitsound louder than 1?
I’ll just lower my normal volume more :)

Never thought of that, might give it a go. Thanks :)
Any favourite hitsounds? Currently using one of the quake ones I think.
I like the painkiller one. It’s very simple and makes it easy to discern between different damage values.

No, except for the way smzi already presented you cant. Max is 1
I edit the volume in audacity, much easier to get it precise
