Nuts and bolts instead of gibs

So lately (I think since the latest update or the one before that) I get like metal screws and bolts and stuff instead of people’s flesh and bones flying around. Someone told me it might be the MvM gibs mixed up with the normal ones. Anyone knows how to fix it?
if you’re using chris’ configs, change:
violence_ablood 0
violence_hblood 0
to
violence_ablood 1
violence_hblood 1
and also uncomment the enable gibs section
i have the same problem, but the above solutions don’t seem to work for me

…….getting nuts and bolts instead of gibs actually sounds AWESOME to me…..
any way this could be turned into an actual mod? :D

yeah just put this into your autoexec

yea i already had it like that, im using chris’ fps config.
i re-enabled gibs which i had off and now i get them too! woohoo!
FUCK YES NOW EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO PLAY WITH THE GERMAN CUT VERSION. YELLOW BLOOD, ducks, hamburgers, nuts and bolts FTW

mine is uncut!
with chris maxquality config i have blood but not with the directx9!
