Hey.

I’m trying to watch a source TV demo ( Chinese Mafia vs Nitrose on cp_gullywash_final1) but I can’t get it to work

what happens is that my camera is stuck on the floor in free spectator mode and I can’t swap to other spectator modes. I’ve tried spec_player [name] command but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried spec_mode x command but it doesn’t work. none of the default keybindings that you use to spectate work. I’ve tried all console commands I can remember but none work. I’ve also tried watching other demos but they have the same problem.

Now I’ve watched STV demos before. I used to play quite a lot of CSS competitive and I watched a lot of demos. I remember my friend telling me to write some console command in order to be able to spectate freely but this was a long long time ago and I can’t remember it. I’ve tried googling for the command but with no success.

I’ve closed demoui but I can’t move at all :/

Make sure +jump is bound to a key and the demo isn’t paused.

To test, throw this in the console:
bind "space"
And see what comes out.
(replace “space” with whatever your jump key is!)

The same story for +attack.
