Ok, so after i installed the windows updates that popped up today i tried to play some tf2 and as soon as i loaded up the map, tf2 would crash giving me and error saying: “this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way”.
Right, so after some research i still found nothing that would help, weird thing is i can load up a map offline and play on it like for 5 seconds and after that it crashes again.
I dont know why it would crash if the game can actually run, i would understand if it wouldnt launch at all.
So does anyone know a solution to this ?
I am running w7 64bit.

edit: already tried rolling back the windows updates, didnt help.

Seriously though, sometimes it breaks because of other stuff you install. It doesn’t do any harm either way.

As for the updates, I have no clue. Could you uninstall them to see if that fixes it, and then install them one by one to see which one breaks your game?

well I have this, but the error window comes up and I just ignore it and keep playing :O still kinda annoying though I guess…

Reinstalled the library –> no effect
I restored windows to a restore point from yesterday and that didnt help so i doubt uninstalling them 1by1 would help.

Apparently if you just ignore the error window you can continue playing.
