With “-w 960 -h 540” my game gets forced to 640×480. Any way I can play at 960×540?

Use windowed. If you’re being forced to 640×480 your monitor doesn’t support displaying that resolution.

Seems correct, windowed doesn’t help anything though.

But it seems that my monitor can run 720×480 which is 16:10 and a nice compromise I guess.
