Okay looking for a FPS config, prefably one thats up to date etc unless it doesn’t matter which FPS config I use.
Thanks in advance

Don’t get the difference between highframes and maxframes config explain please :/
maxframes – lowest quality – best fps
highframes – bit better quality – still good fps but not as much
dx9frames – ok quality – still good fps but again not as much
depending on ur pc you choose how bad you want the graphics basically

I swear Chris said something about “you might get one or two more frames from the maxframes config, and even that would make me suprised”

cba finding quote :D
if you like the bad graphics looks, why not.
Also one thing (pretty much personal pref) that you should (test) to enable is motion blur. Everything feels a bit smoother for me, and it feels like you have more fps. Ive heard various people disagree and agree with me.
Look for “mat_motion_blur_enabled”
Dont forget to read the instructions for the config etc
edit: I meant you might get one or two more frames from the maxframes if you use it instead of highframes. You wont gain max fps by using the dx9 config

motionblur decreases fps quite alot, i find it quite hard to aim when your scanning around or targeting fast moving enemies. but yer motion blur can hide the stuttering effect of low fps
