60fps is oldschool myth for smooth,i think even usa has hd tv that is at smth like 70fps or so

Even fast moving video looks awful if you don’t use a lot of motion blur. And even if eyes did only see x frames per second, it has fuck all to do with computers and smooth movement/fast responses.

Since recently i can’t even get a stable 120 fps even with chris’ maxframes on blands midfights.
AMD phenom triple core with the fourth core unlocked running at 3.4ghz each, 8 gigs of ram and an ATI HD4890.

120 fps since I started playing tf2, update a month ago makes it drop to 60 at mid and 5-10 if loads of stuff explodes on screen :C

AMD Phenom || x4 955 BE oc 3.4ghz running almost steady 240 fps drops to like 220 at mid
