is there a way to keep this thing the same fucking size
seriously it starts all clustered like http://i.imgur.com/Xek7X.jpg then i have to open advanced mp options and wait for it to change size so it’s more like http://i.imgur.com/xwAxU.jpg and hit ok at the right time waht the ehll is that
there’s probably something obvious i’m missing but i’m half asleep
Retry to the server and don’t alt tab? That was the problem i had when I changed hud settings and alt tabbed when not in windowed.

scale apparently doesn’t change how far the lines are from the centre dot though
It’s not possible, it “remembers” the size it had when you set it through the menu.
If you have your config.cfg set to read-only try getting rid of that and see if it saves it. IIRC that was the only thing that worked for me.
cl_dynamiccrosshair 0 seems to cycle though the sizes when you have the multiplayer tab open, not sure how to make it stick though.
