I think they changed the voice command to voice_menu 1 1, may be wrong though.
er, no, that’s for the voice commands menu.
you want +voicerecord.
Can you please make an option to not pick any of the snakeoil network settings but rather go with the default ones?

If you can provide a rational argument why a substantial amount of players would prefer the default over any of the three available settings, then yeah.
edit: Ah, so you think that the network settings actually do nothing? Well, I’m sure you might wanna ask Chris for more details, but if you don’t notice the obvious difference then there’s probably nothing I can say to convince you. But anyway, I’m not gonna include the defaults cause they are simply a lot worse. You can get close to the defaults by setting your cl_interp to 0.1 on all the slot defaults, though.

wow. please do continue being ignorant. if you genuinely can’t feel the difference between 20/20/25000/0.1 and 66/66/60000/0.16, then you must be seriously oblivious to what is happening in game.

Aww Chris go be smug in some other thread
(((
but seriously, when people talk shit about stuff they know nothing about it pisses me off no end. it’s not like i just chose my network settings by choosing numbers at random.

I know, I know, it’s gonna be alright.
edit: lol ninja edit
yes, i figured it was a bit too smug :D
i will leave this thread now, and pop up the next time someone makes a stupid comment!
I really like how this project is going on. Keep up the good work
Some suggestion:
Chris has added different interp settings for hitscan/projectile weapons in his last cfg. Would be cool if they are set as default in the customize weapons textbox
Would also be cool to see some scripts implemented. Examples:
– spy disguise using numpad
– engy build with numpad
– q switch beetween primary/secondary , hotkey for melee

Yeah I’ll add this to the TODO list for the slot customization UI update.

Pretty much it’s up to having a proper documentation and UI. It’s all doable already.
You can bind the alias switch_between_slot1_and_slot2
from broesel’s script and bind a key for melee separately.
But yeah, I’ve taken all of this into notice and will work on them as soon as I can. Thanks for the feedback!
I got a bit of a weird bug using this t’other day. The rocket jump script started applying to my sticky launcher, needless to say this is not helpful.
Also I was wondering if there was a way to make the crosshair switcher and viewmodel on each weapon consistant with the quick last weapon switch that is bound by default to “q”. I like to use q to switch between pipes and stickies, want viewmodel off on the pipes but on on the stickies however switching weapon using q keeps the same settings for the previous weapon on.
Hope that wasnt too incomprehensible, keep up the good work :)

I’ll take a look at both of those bugs. Thanks for reporting!

At least 90% of all TF2 players don’t use one of the three available settings.

at least 90% of all TF2 players have a ridiculously high sensitivity, should we all follow suit? just because pubbers don’t know what good rates or good sensitivities are doesn’t mean the rest of us should follow suit. do some research in source networking before you make stupid comments.
besides, pretty much all pub servers have low server fps and play better at low rates. the same does not apply to (most) match servers.
