Chris, you mentioned NOD32 as AV protection, any idea where KIS stacks up against it in terms of performance hit?

NOD32 is pretty damn light (at least, it was when I used it, nowadays I only use Windows for gaming and go back into NetBSD for anything else so I don’t bother). I don’t know about KIS, but I’ve installed MSE for a lot of people when they’ve been lacking protection and it doesn’t seem to have any noticeable performance hit, at least when doing general stuff, I don’t know about gaming.
The main thing to do is make sure you whitelist your gaming dirs, often AVs intercept data before it goes in/out of the program which can cause stuttering and all sorts of problems.

no, and moreframes is discontinued/unsupported.
But then what can I use to get more fps but not a ridiculous degree :'(

use highframes or dx9frames
