Still no recording. Mumble dev team is as useless as Valve. I’m sure you’ll soon receive random themes/skins for Mumble while idling.

hmm for some reason i can only use Mumble 1.1.4. Using all of the higher versions i cant hear anything. Even if i use the TCP Mode.

No difference in 1.2 alpha :(

Ive got a server up atm using Mumble 1.2 alpha, got a few people using it and the first thing i can say is that is has MUCH better voice quality than 1.1.8.

it just depends what kind of codec u use, cant u change the codec yourself, or is there a “set” codec that is unchangeable?

To be honest this could be the version that “converts” me.

This is why you use mumble, as a medic you are dead long before your teammates even gets the message “scout behind stupid!” in ventrilo/ts.

Give this man a cookie. Although tbh, it looks like this latest version of mumble allows you to ditch some of the epic low latency for voice quality, so it’ll just be a case of find a happy medium on your internet connection.
