This was posted by [FB]AnimaL on the FakkelBrigade website in response to the article put up about “me.” Without getting into anything personal here, as clearly it would not be approved of, I will merely state that if you have lost interest in what I am writing then you have lost interest in caring about this game.

Regardless of your opinions on my methodology or vocabulary, I am (seemingly) the sole voice that is willing to speak on the issues that plague this game rather than crying “TF2 IS DEAD!” or other nonsense. The usual reply is “But I never cared about this game” with an appropriately smug icon attached which is to show us feigned superiority to a degree that even I can not contend with. Anyone who has put five hundred hours into playing this game on a competitive level, anyone who has played at a division 2 level – you have cared about this game.

AnimaL, I know you care. Please care. Please care not for me, but for Fragga, your retired-clanmate. Care for the people who still must be saved. Care not for what we have now but for what God can grant us in the future.

mhh, i stoped caring when tf2 got into 4 month long stagnation… yes, it also is fb fault, nobody asked them to become inactive, but fb ain’t the only ones, i might be wrong but there are like 90% of worthy top lvl clans who also are/were inactive and surely this affects sites like resupply.eu…

tf2 is dead

For me, tf2 is dead, as most top teams play hon or w/e bs over tf2, and as all tournaments ended at summer start and no srs money involved tournaments are announced. As the game, where even after 4 months of not playing most of top clans still will be top and rest still be quite miserable range behind… There isn’t much to care about, nothing has changed over last few months… Seems not much will, but the good times are kinda over…

Soon more top clans will be folding until there will remain only few who love this game or the few, who now will think they are the best…

Now, as u said, the only thing what i could care of and am waiting for is the soldier update. I want to see, if valve will take care of the funeral of tf2, or maybe they will want to revive it, drag old soldiers back to it and say hey, we fucked up, lets try again… Maybe then it will be like a year ago, where there was coverage, there was competition, there was drama with top line players getting stealed or simply leaving to other teams to dominate in a new level…

p.s. my response on fb site was to fb article about u, not tf2 or anything u misread there
