They should have spreaded the prizemoney better if they really wanted a lot of teams to sign up. atm the 1st place gets 2000 and the 2nd place 800. And there are only a couple of teams that can compete for that money.
Also, the schedueling system etc. are kinda crappy, so it is unfortunately understandable why few teams are signing up. It would have been better if they made it something like this:
1st: 1000
2nd: 600
3/4rd: 300
5-8th: 150
div2 signup gogogo!
LAN finals are in the middle of an exam period so if you do sign up, if you have a chance of coming top4 make sure you will have 6 av :(
These ukesa challenges are always a gamble with an organization claiming to raise this games reputation by redistributing the collected money and earning a nice easy earned profit.
I really doubt if only these fee-based challenges raise the game. Guessed that there are other ways to finance tournaments, like etf2l does e.g.

tbh ukesa should have spread the money around to a wider number of positions, like 1-8 even, if the goal is to really encourage “amateur” gaming.
Agreed Agron. This is only the first season though so hopefully it will get better, its just a shame TF2 might not be a UKeSa game next season with how reliable teams are!
Although amusingly, while we only have 8 fully registered/GUIDs entered/Players paid, CSS and COD4 still only have 7!
