Regarding STV, you can set the tv_password and you can check the connect info for STV with ‘rcon tv_status’. STV delay is set at 90 seconds.

Ah OK, STV port is the gameserver port + 5.
So if you’re playing a match on server 1 (port 27015), you can connect to STV on port 27020.
Here’s how you can read the ‘rcon tv_status’ output:
tv_status
--- SourceTV Status ---
Online 7:22:56, FPS 66.7, Version 5153 (Linux)
Master "FakkelBrigade #1 STV (port 27020)", delay 30
Game Time 7:22:26, Mod "tf", Map "ctf_turbine", Players 0
Local IP 176.9.138.143:27020, KB/sec In 0.0, Out 0.0
Local Slots 32, Spectators 0, Proxies 0
Total Slots 32, Spectators 0, Proxies 0
That bit after “Local IP” is the STV IP:port. Simply enter in console:
connect 176.9.138.143:27020; password the_tv_password_here

It’s up and working fine as far as I can see. It’s not a reservable server however, because it’s the GoT warserver :)

Oh that’s why I was wondering why It couldn’t be reserved…

It’s been pretty busy indeed. With the new reservation system more people can use the servers, instead of just one guy blocking a server for an entire day by accident. Also, quite a few people are now booking their server a couple of days in advance.
Still, I might spend some time building something that will cancel your reservation if you don’t show up within 30 minutes of the reservation starting. It’s a waste if people don’t use their reservations :)
I’ve already played around a bit with getting status information from servers through rcon. Using this I could implement cancellation of reservations where noone shows up.

It’s weird how a TF2 server sometimes reports 0% CPU for an active server and 33% for an empty one ;)

But it’s looking pretty good, any chance you get into the gsp business? Probably it isn’t your cup of tea, but if the server quality is on pair with these I would much prefer to rent a server from you than renting from some random gsp
Being a GSP is too much work for too little pay, at least in small scale. And I’d feel obliged to offer something like hiperz’ multi server approach if you pay a monthly subscription.
So for now I’ll just stick to free server reservations with donations from those that enjoy the service.
I’d like to make it the best possible experience for using a gameserver, at least the parts that are within my power/skill to do something about.
