Because of the donations and my promise to the server providers to divide those based on time played I need to make some calculations. As a practice run, here’s the total reservation time per server provider for this month so far:
FakkelBrigade: 39 days 10 hours 43 minutes 44 seconds (35%)
nTraum: 8 days 55 minutes 57 seconds (7%)
VanillaTV: 33 days 13 hours 37 minutes 13 seconds (30%)
FogsServers: 12 days 5 hours 11 minutes 56 seconds (11%)
Slate: 8 days 4 hours 10 minutes 43 seconds (7%)
Team Colonslash: 10 days 1 hour 46 minutes 19 seconds (9%)
May 1st-24th total: 111 days 12 hours 25 minutes 52 seconds in 2654 reservations
Total since the system started: 311 days 2 minutes 20 seconds in 7029 reservations

yea the showmatches got them to 10.8k the other day :)
After my previous whine about the worst 30 days in terms of donations, I’m pleased to report that May is the best month so far, thanks to some repeat offenders and larger donations. Not just in terms of donations, but also reservations: when this month is over, 3500 will be the monthly reservation record.
This also means I get to spread the love to the other server owners, however, a bunch of those bastards has already told me to keep the money or donate it to a i49 fundraiser, so I’ll add nTraum/slate/Colonslash/FakkelBrigade shares together and donate that to Broder. (Should be about 75 euros including paypal fees).
SeriousCat’s share goes to the VanillaTV LAN fund, and I’m guessing Fog’s goes to Fogsserver.com
As I’m not near a proper PC atm, I’ll sort it all out in the upcoming weekend, but I just wanted to quickly share the good news :)

It is great that people acknowledge how awesome your reservation system really is.
To think that without you people would be server-less 3500 times this month really shows how useful a “small” service can be for the whole community.

Also wouldnt it be cool to be able to donate in items? Not sure how hard those bots are to code/arrange but it could be an easy source of money.

Unfortunately the standard steambots don’t run under Linux. If there are bots running on Linux it is only done as private coding projects ,nothing available in public code wise.
After some googling there seems to be a couple of attempts or like this. The steamtrade system itself is actually a webAPI. Didn’t know that.
Anyway, good to see more people stepping to the plate and helping out.
