All players should double check if their PlayerId/GUID is entered for Quake Live (which is your QL nick in-game) under the Edit profile>PlayerIds. Failure to have it updated will result in not being approved for the cup!

Angel, I have signed up. I have a spare Pro account that I do not use, so can be used to host a server also.

Also can we not use the DH Summer map pool to give it abit of variety?

This cup for beginners. Therefore I picked 3 most popular maps for Bo3. More maps or non-standard maps will be difficult to learn for newbies.

Since idSoftware supports this cup we don’t need Pro accounts to create game servers anymore. But thanks for your help anyway.

I understand, but I think there are easier maps for noobies that aren’t hub. For example, if they lose/never had control then they have to live off a YA and 1 GA at best. 1 rail and they’ve lost 50 armor :< If they have control you can get frustrated at the strafe jump to RA or lose armor trying to RJ to it. It's not friendly to people who are new to Quake, duel and timing.

Maybe Tox? It's not as vertical, the RA is dangerous to pickup and gives the person out of control chance to set a high dmg trap.

Also, and I am not complaining I like the challenge but 4 of the players are of a much better standard then "noobie".

I’m checked all participants on http://qlranks.comQLRanks.com[/url] before add. We gather community of players which aren’t have QuakeLive as a primary game.

Please suggest 3 maps which are will be better to your opinion.

just make a pool of 5 maps, assuming the final will be bo5. keep those 3 maps and add lost world + whatever, be creative.

also keep pick, pick, thats rather important for people like us who dont play ql that much!
