Talked to an admin about rescheduling, TF2 currently doesnt have all the listed info on the UKeSA website, however this is how its working (currently) NOTE THIS IS NOT 1–% GUARENTEED INFORMATION UNTIL THE WEBSITE IS UPDATED

taken from the CSS rules page, assumed to be the same for tf2:

3. Rescheduling is allowed but matches MUST be played BEFORE the following Wednesday. Clans MUST post in the match notes that a reschedule is requested. It is up to the teams involved to come to an agreement and post in the match notes the outcome of the reschedule. If no agreement is reached an admin will make a ruling. If a date is agreed and the match fixture is updated to reflect that new date then it is classed as the official date and any changes must be requested as a new reschedule.

After agreeing in the match comments about reschedule information an admin must be notified. Proposed admins to contact about agreed reschudling information:
fean0r, tikcus, moobie

Its possible to drop into #edadmins wait in the queue, then when a support admin can speak with you to ask him politely to pass the reschedule information along (provide him with the match fixture webpage)

Play Days

UKeSA Championship matches start up on February 25th, 2009 at 20:00 GMT. Please check your fixtures if you are in a Championship Division. Championship Division matches are every Wednesday. Each Championship squad is allowed ONE reschedule wild card. They must get an admins permission to reschedule.

Open Division matches are every Monday. If you would like to reschedule a match, you must do so within three days of your original match day.

Dell XPS Premiership matches are every Thursday. Premiership teams can only reschedule with UKeSA approval and are encouraged to avoid rescheduling.

wow, imagine if your team couldn’t play wednesday nights for whatever reason…… would have been nice to know that before signing up/paying!

Kinda lame imo. If both the teams agree on rescheduling, why do we need to get this wildcard BS into it. Obviously it matters if its the premiership cos you have streams and casts and stuff, but dunno why it has to be so stringent in the Championships :/

So if both teams agree to another date is the wildcard used or not? Im kinda w´confused now :S

We had to reschedule our game from this Wednesday with .exe, and even though they agreed to reschedule, the admins said to me that I had used our wildcard. This was when I asked in #edadmins asking their permission to move the match, as the rules ask you to do.

So I think _any_ reschedule uses the wildcard, even if both teams agree. We used our wildcard, rather than exe using their’s, because it was technically our request.

Jimmy, That exact thing just happened to us. We had to reschedule our first game against [00] cos our solly/caller was away and even though both the teams agreed for a reschedule, we had to use our wildcard cos it was our request. Like you said, wish we knew these caveats before we signed up :/

Oggy

We’re gonna have to do the same for our first game also weds was always idk’s day off so ppl have already got things to do heyho no more wildcards!
