La compétiTF blog by Galant, pala4 and -|F|- Angel proudly present May Ultiduo Cup #7. You’ll have a chance to win $200 for 1st place, $70 for 2nd place and unique in-game medals from Valve.

Ultiduo is a battle between Soldier and Medic combos on a special king-of-the-hill map testing both teamwork and strategy. This mode comes from the Ultimate Duo series on ozfortress, started as a soldier competition for Team Fortress Classic.

Rules

– game mode: 2×2
– class limits: 1 Soldier + 1 Medic
– allowed weapons for Soldier: Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, Shovel or Frying Pan (since they identical)
– allowed weapons for Medic: Medi Gun (Kritzkrieg is not allowed), Syringe Gun, Blutsauger, Bonesaw, Ubersaw
– map: koth_ultiduo_r_b7 (4.7 MB) (http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/kcg3cvpul24awq8n3g5wa5obwe7gg1wascreenshots[/url])
– match mode: best-of-one (BO1) except best-of-three (BO3) for LB and Grand Finals
– server config: our ultiduo config

You are free to use any latest standard 6on6 ETF2L or ESL config with mp_timelimit 0 and mp_winlimit 1 for best-of-one matches or mp_winlimit 2 for best-of-three matches.

Approx. 1/3 of teams not showing on the Cup. This is due to a large open registration period. Teams just forget about the participation.

It’s wasted time for the admins and participants. In the 1st round we are looking for teams that didn’t come.

I suppose one week is enough for registration.

I’ve tried a hundred times to make an account on that website and whenever I do it never lets me log in. When I try, it says invalid login details. Help?

Important note. All players should double check if their Steam ID is entered under the Edit profile->PlayerIds. Failure to have it updated will result in not being approved for the Ultiduo Cup.
