ffs fight for premier!
just to say if you have problems registering teams, players, edit squads or whatever
#edadmins
wait in queue those guys are quite helpful – though the system is a bit buggy still
the majority of registered clans have way less than a full roster (i guess its 6+ for tf2?) many clans have only one person registered and these clans won’t count towards the final total so still lots of work to do people. get signed up NOW ffs
Im quite worried now, is it important that the uk team manager signs up the team or do we only have to have a uk team manager and anyone can sign the team up?
72 for tf2 and 71 for 1.6 atm
for those having a hard time navigating the site, use this: http://gossip.krus.dk/2009/01/21/important-sign-up-for-ukesa/
Can someone tell me specifically what ED’s stipulations are? I know that a UK person has to be the manager, but is that purely of the team as a whole or do they have to be listed as the leader of the actual TF2 squad? I’m sure it’s written somewhere in this thread and the articles linked, but there’s a lot of pages and a lot of links : p.
iCon signed up after jimmybreeze, the k^m leader, propose us to be our manager :p
thx and go tf2 ! :)
still missing around 160 clans who are playing ETF2L FS !!! harass them :p
Some questions answered in the latest news post at ED and I’m afraid that this is bad news for those who were hoping to get TF2 to premiership.
“How many titles will become Championship titles? – Around 10. The process then starts again for the Premiership, although this time the tally will be based on Championship sign-ups.”
Which means that the games which get most squads signed up to the championship league are going to premier. And to play in the championship league, teams need to follow a more strict set of rules:
“Championship teams and players must be available for media and event broadcast coverage. Squads and players may be be required to attend the LAN finals.
To help maintain a high level of integrity and keep the league at a high standard and professional, players will be asked to pay the UKeSA a player fee (the UKeSA is non-profit organisation) to play in the Championship Leagues.
The fee is currently set at £7.49 per player per game title per season. A player wishing to compete in a season in 1 game title will pay £7.49. Each addition title they wish to play in will cost £7.49 per season.”
I think that games like CoD4 and CS 1.6 have a lot more teams that are willing to pay for playing and are able to send their squads to UK LANs.
Well… at least championship place is pretty much guaranteed already. But don’t forget to add your full rosters and steamIDs!
Ok, that sucks indeed :(
