Hello. The smart people already knew this was coming, so here it finally is: the TF2 Rush Poker Challenge.

This is a 64 team TF2 tournament taking place this month. It will feature a mix of well-known maps.

We have prepared a nice prize: €600 for the winner, €300 for the runner up, and €100 for third place, all courtesy of Full Tilt Poker. (But it’ll be fun for the other 61 teams as well.)

The bulk of the tourney will be played Sunday the 13th and Tuesday the 15th, so if you have these days free in your schedule, sign up and enjoy some high-grade TF2.

Ah. Apparently the final version of turbine_pro will be released very soon. If that’s indeed the case, there’s a good chance we will be using that version. Stay tuned.

Suggest making this Vanilla?

ESH is more important than etf2l for tf2 though. But still, I doubt some top teams are going to play. Sponsors want to see big teams to duke it out for the maximum amount of viewers and exposure. Not signing up because of the ruleset would be a good statement.

Making this cup vanilla would show how good vanilla tf2 can be with a proper map pool.

Well, it would seem that at least our guys have no desire to play in this cup either as long as the unlocks are in it. Haven’t really talked about it with the other teams yet but hopefully others will follow.
