Are there any live channels in irc?
yes

and #pixeltf2.pickup (invite only)
but pickups have been pretty dead lately

he probably means he is looking for channels where there are actually daily pickups.
Ye. People have really just started playing mixes/double mixes all the time. imo they are actually more fun and helpful towards improving (and I say that as owner of the #pixeltf2 pickup channels).
When he expect? :]
