TF2 TV, Europe’s premier TF2 casting experience, are very proud to release their first ever tournament in Europe’s TF2 Scene! The tournament will be held every month and will be covered and organised by TF2 TV! The first edition of this cup will be held this coming Wednesday, the 1st of December. After that, the tournament will be hosted on the first Wednesday of every month.

The tournament will be single elimination and it will have 16 teams participating, all of which will be asked by TF2 TV to join in, making it an invite only tournament. TF2 TV want to continue to cover all levels of TF2, therefore they will choose a certain division (or multiple sections) and invite teams around the same skill level to participate!

This first edition will feature teams from ETF2L’s Division 2 and the very top of Division 3. Among the clans already signed up and confirmed for this Wednesday, we have the Division 2 leaders Only Rockets Love You? and kn0ckout, the legendary Red Eyed Jedis, and the new upcoming clan Knights!

The tournament will start at 20.00 CET, with 45 minutes available to play each round. Therefore the evening should end around 22:30 CET, with both of the finalists known.

The first three knockout rounds will be played on a single map, right up to the finals which will be played as a best-of-three match. Both finalists will choose one map and then use map elimination from the map pool to pick a deciding map, in case of a draw. The final will NOT be played on the Wednesday evening. Instead, it will be arranged within 2 weeks of the elimination rounds and casted exclusively on TF2 TV.

All of the rules, configs and seedings will be announced over the next 24 hours. The brackets will be created from the seedings in a standard single elimination seeded tournament format, e.g. 1v16, 2v15 etc.

Tonight at 20.00 CET, we will have TWO streams running at the same time! Our latest asset Krimson will stream a cast from Pledge and D2M from start till end! You will be able to join this cast on our mumble server as well!

On our second stream, Comedian will stream a cast with him and David, later joined by our highlander casters Sheridyn and Hildreth! This stream will NOT be joinable on mumble.
