seems to me to be a mix between a HoN style interface and TF2 lobby. I am actually a fan of the whole HoN interface and ranking system and i think this could be really good if you just stuck at it. the problem i see you having is that while i think if you got the site and stuff working it would be awesome you have a lot of competition. the lower div players all bum around lobbies and the higher end players keen up pickups, if you can create something that both find easier and more enjoyable i am sure it will be great!

Instead of being complete fuckwads and coming in being all like “it’ll never happen! nightbox sux1!1!1111!”, how about actually helping him do it? Or better yet, if you’re a dipshit who can’t do anything but complain or flame, how about just sitting down and shutting up?
While there are some people who posted here that actually contributed something to the community, most of the people who flame box’s attempts are just a bunch of worthless morons.
You guys have no idea how dedicated Nightbox is to this project. He keeps bugging me 24/7 about it, about what he needs, about what he’s doing, about what he’s gonna do. And most of the time his status message is like “working on tf2mm” on yahoo/other socialnetworking crap.

So please, before coming in and being complete twats, give the guy a chance. He may have been an idiot and failed in the past, but atleast he’s trying, unlike others.

Also, as a query, what system do you intend to use to rank someone?-their clan history, current clan, experience etc?

I find it.. frustrating.. to see so many of you jump on the “hate Nightbox” bandwagon, purely because he comes across as an easy target.

Nightbox has done more for the community than 99.9% of the people on this forum and as such deserves at least a semblance of respect.

I’ve managed to spend an evening helping him learn some PHP and MySQL so he can get this site off the ground and to be honest he’s picked up more in that one evening than every one of my friends from Uni learnt in a semester. That’s straight A students doing a Comp Sci degree.

Give him a fucking break already. He’s working hard, wants to get this site up and running. Sure, he can be an annoying cunt at times, but it’s only because he’s a wee bit younger than most of the posters here and has had to learn from some of his mistakes the hard way. I told him not to advertise TF2MM until it was completed, he’s paid the price for that.

If there are any designers out there that could spare some time to help, it would be much appreciated. I’d be happy to offer any services I can in return (sexual if needs be, but I’m thinking more along the lines of mentoring or something).
