i’m going to spam you with 10000 viagras.
That would be very diabolical.
but seriously, i have a copy of the db and won’t spread it, but anyone else could have gotten it. there’s nothing anyone can do now, if someone got it they will have it already.
Don’t lose hope on this project just yet, please.
That’s my server that Nightbox has released un-protected code on… :) Excellent. He shall be getting a minor telling off when he gets home.
For everybody else that’s QQing about quality of code and about how bad the project is, give the fuck over. Nightbox has learnt more PHP in two weeks than I’ve seen Comp Sci students learn in six months.
He will learn how to protect his code, and his website will be completely safe, and when it’s released properly I would quite like you all to have a go with the injection attacks, and any others you can think of, so that we can well and truly say it’s safe.
Until then, Nightbox won’t be releasing any more “live code”, and I’ll be asking him to refrain from commenting on the project until it’s in a better state to be commented on.. :)

The only thing you have is emails and nicknames though.
Anyway, I asume Night will focus on learning his security stuff now so no need to stress out about this. Only problem I see is that so many people were spammed and asked to login, he should keep this project a bit more private untill it’s working.
Negative attention is attention too. I think he’s doing a great job at making sure everyone knows something (arguably) big is coming.

email, nickname, steamid, country. it’s mostly api driven.
emails are good for data mining.

Yeah, but most of those can be found on hlstatsX and even steamcommunity. It’s all about the emails indeed, Ideally you shouldn’t even need to enter them on the site as OpenID does all authentication.
[13:02:42] <~M> my favourite one I hacked was one where the the cookie information was trusted ;D
please do this for your next stunt

Indeed – and you don’t.
Well, I didn’t, and it worked.

grabbed and stored from API, i guess.
As far as I know the APi does not share e-mail info, which was what I was talking about :p
It does hand out steamID’s, but you can get those from your steamprofile anyway so it’s more about authentication then anything else.

well, it’s what’s in the db, so if you’d care to explain where it’s came from…
