A Coverage Writer raises awareness of notable matches in ETF2L’s various competitions by writing engaging newsposts or articles.

The top teams in the League serve as an inspiration for veterans and newcomers alike, and as such providing proper coverage of high-profile matches is crucial for expanding TF2’s competitive scene. A well-written article can lift a team’s spirits and motivate it to play at its best.

As members of staff, Coverage Writers also get to hang out in the admin channel and have a say in how the League is run.

Coverage Writers must be capable of working on a weekly schedule to ensure deserving matches receive coverage on time. Great command of written English is a must.

• Country of residence
• Age
• Previous experience (optional)
• Available free time: how much time do you have available for writing on a weekly basis? What other commitments may affect your availability?
• Write a sample coverage post. Choose an already played or upcoming Premiership match from an ETF2L Season and describe it in a few paragraphs that would make it sound exciting to watch.

At the very least, the sample post should briefly describe each of the teams involved in the match and mention what’s at stake – a playoff prize, league points, continuing a winning streak, etc. You may be as informal or analytical as you like – your goal is to write something that would interest the readers in the outcome of the match.
