Season 40: Playoffs & Tiebreaker Scores

Welcome everyone to the conclusion of the 40th season of ETF2L 6v6.

We hope you enjoyed the matches, and for the teams that made it through, congratulations.

If you find yourself on the list of these teams you are expected to be available. If you fail to provide information, or it is insufficient, we will have to decide your match dates for you. Keep in mind that we will try and accommodate both teams, but the match date may still vary from your provided days if for example none of the days matches with your opponent’s, but your opponent offered more days than you did. Deadlines listed for the matches are flexible and may be changed in certain situations if admins are contacted about allowing extensions on these.

Schedule

The schedule for the playoff matches will be the following.

• Quarter-final matches will be played from 12th December – 15th December.
• Semi-Finals will be played from 16th December– 18th December.
• Grand Finals will be played from 19th December – 23rd December.

Format

Maps will be decided using the following Map Elimination System:

Both teams need to agree on who eliminates first. If the two teams cannot agree, they need to perform a heavy fist fight. The winner of this heavy fist fight can decide if he wants to start of if the other team should.

We have discussed with Premiership and Division 1 teams and agreed to change the playoff format to single elimination from double elimination this season.

Premiership

For Premiership we’re going with 4 teams in the playoffs with single elimination. All matches will be played as BO3.

The winner of this match will face Ora Elektro in the semi-finals for a place in the grand final against  gerz.

Division 1

For Division 1 we’re going with 4 teams in the playoffs with single elimination, similar to the premiership playoffs. All matches will be played as BO3.

For Division 2 we’re going with 3 teams from each group, with a total of 6 playoff teams in a single elimination format.
