Season 27 Premiership Preseason Playoffs Lower Bracket Final: unexpected vs. ★★★½

It’s the last chance saloon for two aspiring Premiership teams tonight as Unexpected face off against ★★★½ on teamfortresstv in one of the Lower Bracket Finals of the Qualifiers. Also Loli Squad and nunya will be fighting in their own last chance for a place among Europe’s elite (this match will not be casted on teamfortress.tv at the time of writing).

Despite looking like one of the likely favourites to qualify it has been an unexpected (pun intended) turn of events for adysky‘s hopefuls. Taking a surprise win over the recently demolished Perminators in the Upper Bracket the team suffered a setback at the hands of LEGO (who are now confirmed for Prem next season) losing in two straight maps to the veterans. However they look to bounce back in this fixture with superstar Scout sorex and maybe-soon-to-be-a-star Soldier PolygoN looking to seal the win and have the essential confidence heading into next season.

Meanwhile French purists ★★★½ have come through a tough string of matches in the run up to this encounter. After a comfortable win over B@GSER FIVE they were soon shifted by one of the favourites to qualify, ANTIC into the Lower Bracket. Licking their wounds the team fought back against Velocity eSports coming from 1 map down to win 2-1 overall. With recent LAN experience from GA 2017 and looking like the underdogs expect players like Olgha and Daul to raise their game and potentially cause an upset and take the team to become the second French team in the Premiership this season.
