ETF2L Highlander Season 8: Stacked vs. Tourettes Chessclub @ 21 CEST

Woooah-ee, the weather is getting warmer and the action is heating up on this Sunday evening as all 8 premiership teams are in action for Week 3 of the ETF2L Highlander Season 8 powered by Tt ESPORTS. Full fixtures below:

Every game will starting at the same time, 21 CEST meaning only one game for Jon, sigafoo and CeeJaey to sink their teeth into over at BlackOut TV tonight. The most interesting of these matches looks to be Stacked versus Tourettes Chessclub with both teams starting the season with a map win and a map loss, sitting 3rd and 4th respectively.

For b33p and his boys, a comfortable 6-0 win over UKIP was followed by a disappointing 5-1 loss to Fair Enough. With that in mind, it looks like Mista was dropped from Engineer, allowing b33p to shuffle his team around. The Irishman has moved to Engineer, putting former DAROUTOUTOU Pyro DeGuN back….to Pyro. F2 reclaims his soldier spot from last season, though there are noticable gaps in the roster on the teampage, without a named Spy or Scout (albeit they still have NiCO god's hand and wltrs rostered) it will be a guessing game for us to know what Stacked‘s starting IX will be. Having been spotted trialing a number of people, those who get the nod for tonight’s fixture will be desperate to make a name for themselves in Highlander land, and what better way to do it than versus the current champions.

By contrast, Tourettes Chessclub led by the only Pyro main not to have tried to change his main this season, Scissors has balanced out potential roster problems quite will, with a number of solid players to fill each gap in the side. Despite losing 4-2 in Week 1 to Highpander©, the champions have come back with a routine win over Unpoppable. Now sitting in 3rd place, Tourettes Chessclub have a good chance to cement their challenge for the top seed again by dispatching a Stacked side carrying a few roster troubles.

On paper would you bet on the Tourettes Chessclub, but Stacked certainly have the players to pull off an upset like they have done in previous seasons, with the map being the new and improved pl_barnblitz_pro6, anything can happen if you’re willing to wager on it…(though saloon.tf won’t be taking any bets on it!). Remember to tune into BlackOut TV at 21 CEST to catch all the action, just seeing b33p on Engineer will be worth the entrance fee alone (it’s free to watch).
