Parrot Gapers vs SNSD

Even though there are 3 matches happening tonight at the same time, this is the one we are probably all looking forward to the most. With how things have gone so far in this season,  PG vs  SNSD match could very well decide who goes into the Premiership playoffs as 1st seed and thus only having to play the Grand Finale. This match is a rematch of last season’s final and is expected by many to be this season’s final as well. That is just one of the reasons why you should all be staring intently at your computer screens tonight to see who has figured out how to beat the other.

 Parrot Gapers are currently listed second in the tables, tied with colony. Last season, they suffered a humiliating 3-0 loss on koth_lakeside against tonight’s opponent and they will be wanting to turn this around. Today, as usual, they will enter the stadium with their battle call “Gapers gonna gape” and are looking to give  SNSD a beating.

 SNSD on the other hand boast a completely unbeaten record (as per usual) in this season so far, not dropping a single point, which gives them a 4-point lead over their opponents. Winning tonight could potentially give them a very unassailable position on top of the league. Players on the opposing side will have to watch their heads as the Swedish supersniper TviQ is looking for those pixels to click on – and he very rarely misses.

colony vs DAROUTOUTOU

The second of the three matches happening today at the same time on the same maps is the clash between Nordic/French/Dutch  colony (happy now, SabaSaba?) and the all-French squad of  DAROUTOUTOU.

colony is the only team that has played three matches so far. From those matches they have managed to pick up 8 points, which puts them in a decent position to challenge for spots in the first half of the table (bar first). Today they will need to pick up at least some points against their French opponents to consolidate their place in the top half before their last match against  27.

Nobody knows yet what  DAROUTOUTOU can pull off. They are a bit behind on matches (they only played one match so far where they beat the team they lost to at the end of last season,  Legolas’ Wrath). This, as a matter of fact, gives them a position from which they could even challenge  SNSD on top of the league, given that they win all their matches. After seeing their performance tonight, we will know if it is all on  Parrot Gapers to break last season’s champions or if they will get some help from the French.

27 vs Legolas’ Wrath

Today’s third match comes from the low-end of this season’s premiership.  27 clash with  Legolas’ Wrath. Especially for the latter team, it is very important to take some points out of this match to increase the chances of staying up.

 27 has lost two matches this season, picking their only points against  Parrot Gapers by winning one round on Gravelpit. Tonight, they will want to make some distance between them and the 6th spot on the tables (and demotion).

 Legolas’ Wrath is in an even worse situation than their opponents, having picked up no points from their two matches so far. The yet have to face the teams that are considered strongest in the Premiership Division, so this is the match they will need to win to have a chance of their season not becoming a total flop.
