ETF2L partners with Multiplay!

This is certainly a good thing for the ETF2L
how about setting up some STV relays? Would be awesome if ETF2L could provide the bigger matches relays and there wasn’t a need to harrass FB and/or Reve for a relay every time there is a match

We have gotten some STV relay’s as well as other things like a box to host ETF2L on.

multiplay has a way better support, server managing panel and so on, BUT it has a bit bad routing :( n1ping had a bit better.. thats the only thing people will miss from n1ping..
Stray – you should give us a shout if your routing isn’t brilliant, most of the time we can fix things like that :) Also your stv should be 10 by default, and access to a relay if you give us a shout!

Iseries lan finals please.
This was something they brought up in my discussions with them, that was really exciting. They’re very much interested in organising something with the finals at LAN :D I really hope they follow it through and make it awesome!

n1ping are not so good and the didn`t do very much.
n1ping did help us alot and the clans that dont own servers or had issues, the amount of games that ETF2L had to lend to people for matches was very high and that would not have been possible without n1ping, make sure u have all the facts before making such comments Kira :D

I think if you don`t have a server or opponents have a bad ping there – you can use their server or ask your friends for a server..
And if they used n1ping server…. it`s no so much help from their side imo.
But if those were some 6div teams, who didn`t have a game server and they don`t know what a game server is… then yes that was a great help for them :)
P.S. From Muliplay i see that they will do exactly the same plus will give relays/mumble as FakkelBrigade did. Oh and that -50% discount is a good thing too ^^

I was never a fan of Multiplay servers originally. Every one I’d played on was literally horrific.
Now we’ve got a NL-based 1000FPS server that plays brilliantly for everyone. Playing on the 250FPS servers feels utterly disgusting now!

@ kira, u would be suprised if i told u the amount of div 3 and i think div 2 clans that needed to use it from time to time, fact is they gave us them for almost nothing and they did the job needed, imo thats helpful.
I dont deny multiplay are giving more but they are a much larger company with alot more stuff and n1ping did alot for the size of them
all config for match is ok but… shouldn’t sv_minrate be 35 000 not 20 000?
