Relapsing back into our unorganised ways, ETF2L Radio is returning after the thrilling Season 7 Final to bring you coverage of one of the more interesting games happening this week – the fight for Division 2 between 
Team Vertex and 
Only Rockets Love You.
After convincingly beating 
Fragmative in their Pre-Playoff game, many would expect Vertex with their heavily experienced line-up to take tonight’s fixture with ease – yet when the 2 sides met earlier in Season 7, Only Rockets managed to show their dominance on Gravel Pit, and subsequently cause a draw. It’ll therefore be very interesting to see whether Rockets can continue to cause Vertex problems, and get themselves into Division 2.

Knolly, that’s very unlikely as there are a lot of new teams coming back into play for the new season – many of which are looking to be put into Division 2.
If a team finished 3rd or even 4th in Division 3, they’re going to need to show some pretty exceptional results against Div2 teams to get moved up :)

Thanks to everyone that tuned into this last night and I hope it was an enjoyable game to watch and listen to. I was a huge bag of nerves both because it was my first time in the co-casting hotseat and also because my own team and good friends were playing the most important match in Vertex’s history.
As I said on the cast, I was hugely impressed by ORLY last night. Chaba was outstanding for them, and their surprise Freight tactics were very very effective, with the 2-1 win only being held in the last few seconds.
The Badlands score flattered Vertex a little. ORLY put up a brilliant fight and in the end the victory only really came down to one player – Mar. He put in an unbelieveable performance and was given a unanimous man of the match vote for his performance on that map.
I’m very much looking forward to the Fragmative vs ORLY game on Sunday, which I think will be another very exciting match to watch.

Congrats to Vertex. Very good game, some of those ORLY pushes had D2 squad written all over them. Great medic and soldiers.
