Season 6: Provisional Divisions

Here we go: all 330 teams were seeded by our staff and put in Division levels from 1 to 6. Later on all teams will be split into groups of 10 teams. The seedings can be found here:

These seedings are not 100% set, you can’t claim anything based upon them, but we’ve worked hard to make them as final as possible.
If you think your team is misplaced, too high or too low, you can notify us of this. If possible and reasonable, we will try to put you in another division. If you want to do a request, please write an email to [email protected] with the following details:
- Teamname
- Current division level
- Requested division level
- Structured list of results with the following information included: Date; Type (PCW or League? Include match link if league); Opponent; Maps; Exact map results; Links to result screenshots
Please note:
- Any appeals must be emailed before Sunday, 20th September, 23:59 CEST.
- Requests to play in a lower division will always be granted (you don’t need to send a result list)
- We won’t count any result without proofing screenshots.
- Do not send the screens with the mail. Upload them somewhere (separate or as package)
- All screenshots need to have a clear name, e.g. “dignitas_well.jpg”
- We won’t consider a request without a structured list of results.
- PCW results don’t mean too much as they are used to test players, new tactics, etc.
- We aren’t able to realize many requests as almost all spots are 100% safe from previous season results

To be honest, i pretty much don’t give a rats ass whos in division one and not. I’m just happy to see eight clans that have played two or more seasons before this one, which shows that they are stable and that, is what division one is alot about.

We can finally advertise for MID games in irc instead of being restricted to mid+ / High-!
I guess there were few spots open in div2. Most teams already played div2 or got promoted.
div1 needs to be about skill not stability

If you bothered to do any research brt you’d have seen that rej qualified for div 3 last season when we were in div 4 (with the lowest points total of any team to do so in div 4 but meh). Unless you’re suggesting that the positions of last season should have no significance we have every right to be there, if dearjohncarter doesn’t us inspire us to get banned before the season starts. We’ve been doing reasonably well in pcws vs other teams listed there that no one seems to be questioning about.

If a team folds it doesnt matter what div they are… the seedings must be about skill and stability.
Well I’m just saying numlocked, that if etf2l want to get sponsors or KEEP them, it does not look professional with having 2 week clans in their highest division that says “Hi, we would like to play in division one”. And a week later they fold. And i just hate that kind of arrogance (spell check?). But ofcourse, it has to be about skill aswell, and to be fair, for being a provisional announcement I think it looks fairly good.

most divisions look good yeah, i’m just saying it’s a bit of a joke..
the only teams that deserve to be there (in my opinion) are idk? and afterlife. eSreal, rockit and LOL team (to my knowledge) didn’t win their divisions and are only in div1 now because of playoffs (which shouldn’t have had to be played but too many teams fold in div1..). fakkelbrigade shouldn’t be there either. iirc, they lost every game in div1 and only won a few maps. fair enough they got into div1 last season, i just dont see how they’ve managed to stay there (they finished last last season?)
more playoffs need to be had for div1 imo, admins should rethink the current teams :/

And again, it’s just provisional. Look it up. I’m sure the staff will make it fair and square, and if it’s not. Deal with it. I’m sure there is alteast one reason why the team is placed where it is.

We were told to wait until provisional divisions were released before we could send our screen shots. However it seems the playoff games were played before this so might be in vein now.

Dunno what’s funny about div3, most of the teams in there are exactly what you get when you search for mid/mid-. dA-gaming for example rightfully jumped from div5 to div3 because they’re actually good.

brt, maybe vR silver have to play div4 because the people that were in vR silver last season got merged with the div2 vR silver and your current lineup hasn’t proven it’s strength??
You’re lucky you don’t have to start in div6 after original vR silver “folded” at the end of last season.
Maybe try sending in some screenshots to get div3 or w/e.

Fluffy Panda is totally right. We started in Div 6 and had to play a lot of “boring” matches. We always had just two Teams that were on our skill-level and now we are just searching for a higher challenge. I think it`s clear that we won`t be on top at the end of this season but thats not the problem.
So brt tell me why should you start with your team in div. 3 without playing these boring matches in a div. that is maybe not on your skill-level. I give you an advice it would be better when u try to find a “stable” team because than problems like this one wouldnt occur.

As a remainder, I hope the admins will do a very good job this season as in the previous seasons in tracking and banning all cheaters.
I’m quite sure there are a lot of cheaters to be discovered when we have so many new teams.

i just think its funny how rawr have got 2 brilliant scouts and but only 3 players and they are higher than div 3? i really dont understand some people, and as for eMpathy good players in a team but imo the team work isnt there at the moment and if the admins took a look at the results from all the teams they would see this but unfortunatly there isnt enough admins / time at the moment so that means teams that shouldnt be stuck in a division will be :\ anyway DIV 3 HERE WE COME!!

I think there is no need for further discussion. Just upload some screens and write an mail to the admins and they will fix the divisions.

rEJ had the lowest number of points of any div4 team to get promoted last season.
Since then we have played a lot and lackadaisically worked on tactics now and again. At our zenith (and presumably div2’s nadir), over the course of 4 maps, we beat a div2 team followed by drawing with another div2 team.
Since then we have had a massive claneursym and repeatedly lost to div5 russian mixes.
Best div3 clan ever.
Can’t remember any teams I’ve folded in an etf2l season braffle :o. We have 2 scouts 2 sols and a medic btw :p
