Finished Fun Cups and Upcoming Arena Cups

First of all: Week 4 officially started yesterday. Please contact your opponents and schedule your matches. Of course we will set Default Dates again for all unscheduled Fixtures after Wednesday, 23:59 CEST.

Soldier 1on1 & Basketball 2on2 Cups finished and archived

Our first Fun Cups ever finally finished with two great finals:

In the Soldier 1on1 Cup Final (which was already played some time ago) the underdog Slim of r@ts met the Goliath of Soldier 1on1’s, Coinz from Team CoolerMaster. The finalists gave each other a good fight and the result is quite closer than most expected before, but in the end top favorite Coinz managed to win by 50:36 [Match Page]. Two days ago, after some general delay, also the Basketball 2on2 Cup Final was played. HAUNting, a team of Haunter, ETF2L Admin, and the Soldier Cup Champion Coinz, were meeting Massive Meat, a Cruciamentum subteam with haza and kentt. All four hoopsters tried their best to win the very first TF2 Basketball Title, in the end it was a very close win for Massive Meat on a Decider Round. Final scores are 25:20, 20:25 and 25:23 [Match Page].

Arena Gamemode

Our public Arena Gamemode Polls finished last Sunday, thanks to over 400 voters telling us community’s opinion. Official Arena Gamemode for upcoming competitions will be 4on4, Classlimit 1, No Medics + Engineers.

We have added an Arena Team Type to the database. Feel free to already create your Arena Team [Team Register Link] and start inviting your buddies for our two upcoming Arena competitions…

Watchtower-Arena-1-Day-Cup on Thursday, 25^th September

As introduction to our future Arena competitions we will host a 1-Day-Cup for testing a promising looking Custom Map called “Watchtower”. This cup will be played “Best of 11”, first team reaching 6 points going to next round. As little extra we will have some poll for participating teams after who will decide if it will be included to the upcoming Arena Cup #1 (see below).

• Timetable: Sign-Ups will open 17:00 CEST, Cup will take place from 20-23:00 CEST
• Gamemode: Arena, 4on4, Cl1, No Medics + Engineers
• Winmode: Best of 11 Rounds (first team reaching 6 points wins)

ETF2L Arena Cup #1

Beside the 1-Day-Cup we will also arrange a longer Cup over several weeks, the ETF2L Arena Cup #1. Up to 128 teams will be able to fight their way to the first big Arena Cup Title. All or most standard Arena Maps will be included to the Map Pool.
