I find that the chance to get a draw on gravelpit, even with the stopwatch in place, too high

So, just to quote myself from irc:

treigzak: still no rule change on gravelpit? :S
treigzak: should really be best of 3, or the fastest cap of 2 attacks wins
treigzak: best of 3 may take too much time tho, and can be rather boring

Also, its nice with the additional optional (soon to be standard i hope) win limit you added, however.. a point difference of 8? Seems awfully high to me.

i disagree with the “Tie” system. If 2 teams are “fighting” for who is going to take a specific place they shouldnt play a game between them. I believe that the w-d-l system should be on top of the list, whichever team has the most wins get the position, if both have the same wins, then check the draws etc… Another way is to check their map results, what happened between them. If none of these work, then the wayout is to play barrage.

Maybe include a clarification about if/when it is okay to attack or go over the trains during Well setup time, because every clan seems to have their own different version of what’s kosher and what isn’t. Would be nice to set the record straight in an unambigious manner so everyone was on the same page.

@ Jimmy : I think that the rules are pretty clear on this point :

1.5.5 cp_well: It’s not allowed to jump over the train until countdown reaches 5 seconds

It’s forbidden to jump over the trains to opponent’s side during the “Installation Time” until Countdown reaches 5 seconds. Jumping on the trains and spamming over is allowed whole time.

The teams should simply rtfm here : http://etf2l.org/about/rules/ :P
