1st Champions, 1st server, 1st good new map
February 15, 2008
The probably biggest Season 1 match is over, Four Kings.Intel managed to get a clear 2-Map-Win between the by then unbeaten team Kompaniet. Have a look at the match site for scores and screenshots. The coverage was a success with having over 150 people following the match by SourceTV and/or the English commentary by myTF.de!
Don’t forget next Wednesday will be the next big ETF2L event with a big quadV-Shoutcast for the Starting Cup Final between Four Kings, current leader of Division 1, and TeamCoolerMaster who will play their very last game.
Beside that Division 2a, 2b and 4 are ending officially in the end of next week, Division 2a already found the very 1st Division Champion with Phonetic, who managed to not lose any single map in 4 games. All congratulations to them; they will get promoted to Division 1 in Season 2.
Division 2b will probably find his winner in syre, who managed to reach 32 points in this season and are having a free last week. Only Team Jobola could still reach them if they are winning their last 2 games completely. Division 4 is pretty undecided yet; the first four teams still have all chances to win their division with having some games left.
This week we have some late schedules again. And again you will have time to schedule your games till Sunday 23:59 CET. If they are not scheduled in the Calendar by then, we will have to decide a league default date. That’s the case for these Week 6 Fixtures:
(Division 1 – Clan United vs. fof²)- Division 2b – Team Jobola vs. Pub Clan
- (Division 3a – Team Empire vs. Kaizen)
- Division 3a – klan:fader vs. fight club
- (Division 3b – jAgarna vs. Unalleviated Suffering)
Division 4 – Insane Dutch Killers vs. Die Philosoffen
If you have any problems contacting or reaching your opponent, please contact us, we will try to solve the problem. Otherwise schedule these matches as soon as possible. Also don’t forget Week 7 Fixtures, which are also supposed to be played next week.
Valve released cp_badlands yesterday and it feels like some people even like it. We will have a public vote about adding cp_badlands to the mappool soon, so feel free testing it in PCWs under ETF2L rules.
We are happy to announce we found a new partner with clanserver4u who is one of the biggest and oldest gameserver providers in Germany. They will support us with our very own ETF2L League Server and with it a 128-Slot-SourceTV-Server. The server is public for the first days, so feel free to test your ping (it is 24 hours cp_badlands for the moment).

With this own server we will be able to have more bigger Coverages in the future and always a good possibility playing a match under neutral conditions.
Also remember you can always upload your ETF2L demos on our new Demo-FTP; you will find the account information in our forum thread. Once a demo is verified, everybody will be able to download it with high speed.
We also released a first version of our FAQ Page where some of the daily questions get answered.

jÄgarna used their wildcard vs UnSu, which I informed you about roughly a week ago.
brb
@sajh: still you will have to schedule the game for the upcoming week.
we played a game on badlands and it seems quite good , looking forward to play it next season
im fully aware of that and i didnt comment upon that, unless you mean that a wildcard only postpones a game ONE wee. which wasnt my understanding of the wildcard.
Yep I like badlands aswell, but didnt have a chance in 6on6 yet.
@sajh: Wildcard is for postponing a scheduled game generally. There is no real deadline date for the reschedule, still you are supposed to schedule _any_ date and add this new date to the Calendar. Doesn’t matter if it is in the upcoming week or the week behind.
roger roger, then i had misunderstood, ill try to schedule it tomorrow

You do realise that there is another Build-SG-Under the ground bug in Badlands don’t you ?
So might want to keep an eye out for it :)
Ye we notice that bug, of course it won’t be allowed in ETF2L.
