ETF2L Starting Cup, 1st Round Fixtures & Details

A new week started with the IRC Live Drawing in our channel #etf2l . First thanks to everyone who has taken part. As result of the drawing we got following 1^st Round fixtures:

FoF vs veil, Xeno-Project.tf2 vs The Last Resort, mamboswing vs simply iQ, United vs ColdFusion, 9Men vs 4Kings, charge vs Team Jobola, animus vs Herbs Army and Soldiers at Work vs last one alive lock the door. You can also see them at the cup page on our site. Notice: All rounds will be done by drawings, so it’s not a “tree”. The dates published on the cup site are wrong, there will be a winter break (detailed dates will be announced tomorrow).

Games are supposed to be played from 10.-16.12.! Be sure to contact your opponent to fix the game date. You have to add the fixed date to the calendar @ Dashboard -> Calendar so we can be sure all dates are fixed. If you have problems contacting your opponent contact one of the admins.

About Cup’s mappool; as we didn’t have the score system votes about gravelpit and dustbowl yet (they will probably start tomorrow!) 1^st round cup games have to be played on well and granary. If both teams win one map 2fort will be played as golden cap map, first cap wins. If anyhow 2fort is 0:0 after 30mins, team with bigger teamscore wins. From the Quarter-Final on, maps will be picked by elimination mode; but more info on that when it’s time. The total mappool of the Starting Cup is: gravelpit, dustbowl, well, 2fort, granary.

Tomorrow there will be one more newspost about ETF2L Season 1 progress and new votes about possible custom maps in the mappool, a friendly fire vote and the score system vote for gravelpit and dustbowl. We will also announce the result of the crit and classlimits votes.

Remember there are only 9 days left to sign your team for the first season. If you want to take part, register your team soon. That’s all for the moment, have a good night.
