Hi guys im looking for an english speaking team,im new to competitive tf2 but I know how it works and look forward to playing some:P Iam happy to play any class but I prefer scout,demo,pyro and medic.I have good mic and a decent understanding of the game. Right please don't let this put you off but i have to say i am 11 i have a 15 year old bro so i know much more than what u expect(enter trolls). Please give me a chance and if you play a match with me and you don't think im good it's fine u can take me out of your team : )
Roles…
Scout = capture and secure Demoman = set traps at control points and sticky jump
Pyro = spy hunter and kill maim burn!!!! Medic = heal stuff (facepalm)

Hey dude. Welcome to ETF2L. Firstly, Pyro is not normally played in 6v6. Pick one class that you like the best out of Scout, Medic, Soldier or Demoman and learn basic map strategies and rollouts. (A good place to start would be Byte’s Youtube channel.) also, sign yourself up at http://www.tf2lobby.com to get some 6v6 experience against your name. Also, join http://steamcommunity.com/groups/6v6newmix and join some double mixes to get to know some players in the TF2 community. Don’t be discouraged by your age, i joined a competitive Left 4 Dead team when I was 12! ehehe…

GL man, welcome to comp tf2. don’t worry about age, all gotta start sometime. I would suggest you pick a class and focus on it for a while, there are not many good demo’s. Medics there are not many good medics. Scouts are a dime a dozen, lots of good ex cs/css players.
As medic u need the most gamesenes on the team, and demo u need the 2nd most gamesenes. Scouts u need aim and gamesense, soli u need to follow ur medic and lay down spam.
Lobby’s are ok, but people generally go ball out mad on kills 0 teamwork.
Pickups are good when active, but requires a basic knowledge or IRC.

tf2lobby.com is good for starting out and getting a feel for the game, but proper teams communicate a lot more.
Keep in mind the class thing, if you love to ‘kill maim burn’ with a pyro I suggest you get good at scout, then you can offclass at last as pyro all the time. God I hate attacking last against pyro’s…

If you play Pyro all the time you will never be higher than div 6. I agree that Pyro is useful when defending last and the odd shitbox Pyro is fun but you will be more useful playing cookie cutter than Pyro.
