Tournament Time Table (work in progress)
Here’s a rough overview of what i have planned for the event now we are getting closer.

Groups stages Friday 19:00 – 23:00
2 groups of 4 (yanks + ozzies +top 6 in europe playing for seedings all will get promoted to knockouts) A casters wet dream.
Possibly *possibly* if i can find 7 hours in the tournament schedule i will create one mega group with the top 8 teams playing each other once.

8 groups of 4/5 (Rest of you scrubs! With the top team from each group getting promoted into the knockouts)

Knockouts Saturday 10:00 – 20:00
From 16 teams stopping before the 3rd place game.

Finals Sunday
12:00 – 13:00 3rd place Game
16:00 – 18:00 Grand Final
Prime time slot baby!

So how the fudge so i create my team and join this glorious Tournament?
Sign up your team by creating a team name after signing in here! http://insomniagamingfestival.com/i49/tournaments/event/team-fortress-2/ or if your team is already created then add yourself to the roster, Warning sign ups will close at about 5pm Friday!

How do i know when my my matches are and on what server?
One magic word Clanforge. Simply log in after the fixtures have been released on Friday and you’ll see on your “My matches” page it will say who you’re playing when and where http://cf-event.multiplay.co.uk/events/i49/

How do i let you know we’ve just 5-0’ed epsilon Tapley?
Also in clanforge http://cf-event.multiplay.co.uk/events/i49/ log in and you can enter the score on your matches page, if you both put in the same score it auto confirms and saves my poor fingers!

Will there be a briefing before the tournament starts to tell us any other important info?
Yes, Yes there will. Usually 1 hour before the tournament i will put a tannoy out and gather everyone (probably in front of the vanillaTV mini stage) and just give a brief run down of whats happening and when and raise our pints high and toast to a cracking tournament.

How do i contact teams and players or organise pcws at lan?
Make sure you join #insomnia-tf2 on Qnet IRC and speak to everyone from your pc! This is also the best way to speak with your beautifull admins Tapley and Firestorm.

Hey wheres the TF2 photo that i miss out on every event?!
The TF2 photo this year will be roughly 20 minutes after the TF2 grand final outside the main doors in the smoking area (where it normally is) Lets try to get all 400+ of us in the picture and celebrate what a massive achievement this is!!
