Season 4 schedule
The start of the season is near. This season, we have made some small adjustments on our schedule/play deadlines. The system will be operating as follows:
Monday week 1: week 1 start
Sunday week 1: week 1 schedule deadline
Monday week 2: week 2 start
Sunday week 2: week 1 match deadline, week 2 schedule deadline
Monday week 3: week 3 start
Sunday week 3: week 2 match deadline, week 3 schedule deadline.
etc…
All of these dates will be entered in our calendar, you can find a list under the Events tab there, and they will appear on the calendar applet on our front page the date they are due. Events page: [Link]
If two teams do not schedule the game by the schedule deadline, a default date will be set by the admins. This date will be in the week after the schedule deadline. However, if one team makes an effort to schedule, and the other does not, we will usually listen to the suggestion of the more active team, and set the default date for the date they suggested, if any. The match comments play a key role in this process. Before we set default dates, we will look at the comments posted for every unscheduled match. If we don’t see anything there, we will choose a default date at random. (this will be mostly Sundays though).
Map picks
Map picks have been closed. The teams who did not choose their maps, have been assigned a set of maps by the admins. Also, the map choices are now public. You can see them at every matchpage, and an overview at the fixtures page. [Link]
Cheaters
As a last note: we unfortunately had to ban some cheaters from the ETF2L once again. Here’s a list:

All 3 of these players will recieve a 1 year ban.

sonofpi3, i allways thought he was a noob… but he is actully a cheater… hmmm… bad cheater :p
Shut up complx, Pi3 wasn’t a noob and he definately wasn’t a cheater. The key he used for push to talk was ”4”. They thought it was his triggerbot. So shutup if you don’t know what you’re talking about faggot.
Hmm, checked Sonofpi3’s steam stats. He is playing soldier as main class ?
Aimbot for rocket launcher ?
Doesn’t sound too good unless there is some advanced AI involved to lead the targets and so on..
Is there any way of clearing your name in these situations? Never like the sound of that ED anti cheat software.
As it stands the use sounds that come out over sops demos have not been related to the hack he was using..so can you please a) stop dishing out the abuse and b) stop using that sound in your debate!

My honest opinion is that sonofpi3’s level isnt very high(from what ive seen when i have played with him some time ago), if he cheated or not, i have no idea…
BvD, sry for the way i put it, im sure hes a nice guy, especially if he showed u the ropes when it comes to tf2. But i must say i have a somewhat respect of what etf2l puts out on their news…

I’ve personally unveiled some cheaters on my teams, even on tf2 already happened. I was on epic for a week or so and merced for them sometimes, and if he was caught cheating and the admins are sure of that I will not even discuss it since I hope we have the most competent admins for this league. If u say so I honestly hope u guys r wrong.
I dont understand why he would be accused of hacking at all… I mean why risk a VAC + Community ban for the shotgun? Shotgun is the easiest part of soldier if you practice it (no movement predictions needed), and I’m still about the same skill as him/he is only slightly better.. I’ve played with him alot and he uses his rockets more than his shotgun tbh…
I already saw some movies where creators of cheat show how much their cheat was good.
Very impressive, with the demoman, no need to prediction, wH + aimbot and the oppenant is out. It didn’t work well with airshot (due to airmouvement possible) but it was impressive anyway…
I appreciate what you are doing when sticking up for your mate, however sop knows that if he provides a demo from a game where anti cheat was used with links to the anti cheat logs we will look again. Unfortunately sop can’t do this :(

Why would anyone risk it? People still do and lots still get caught.
Because VAC is easily bypassable by almost all cheats, so why would it stop anyone from using a cheat?
thanks for everyones support and the ones who know i didnt cheat i have some demos but unfortunatly none including XAC or any like Aqeutis or what ever it is so i suppose im banned.

I mean why risk it for just the shotgun… Sniping/scout would be understandable as their main weapons rely on direct aim, but why would he aimbot for the secondary (finisher) weapon?
@xzar: When I joined epic I was div5 level, SOP brought me up to being capable of playing div3. So stop being so sarcastic, makes you look like a retard

As for the topic at hand, I have played with pie a few times. Watching any demo you can usually pick up something dodgy (div5 or not).

The admins of this league dont ban people for no reason, if SoP was stupid enuff to try a bot while being sollie then so be it but he wasnt banned for nothing. and yes he may be a good guy but many nice ppl have been caught cheating

First, i dont really now this guy. But are you banning him because he cant prove his innocence? The various anticheats out for tf2 (hell, for all source/hl1 games) is a joke and is much easier to get around then VAC.
Im all for banning cheaters, but if you ban someone and puts a “cheater!” label on them, i would really like at least some thoughs of why, and even better some evidence.
Oh well, it seems like SOP has accepted this, so i guess theres no reason to make i big debat out of it. I would just hate to be next because of my sublime shotgun work :P.

lol. There are much better anti cheats than VAC which are developed by third parties. You don’t really know how VAC works to say this.

Pi3 is NOT accepting this, in fact, he is fighting this. But this happens in private chats with the admins, cause the admins don’t want it to be public. You can see it, they close all the threads.
Thats generally because cheating isn’t some thing thats up for a public debate :). May I add a small thanks to SoP and Pi3 for their decent pms, no flame, no ridiculas comments, it’s a shame SoP’s friends can’t follow the same example.
