Recruitment
Zealos
Posted: | Last Online:
So I decided to leave Pokemon in the end. Pretty sure there was no bad blood :P but decided I wanted to move on.
So, me:
Div5 Medic and Maincalling experience.
Not a clanhopper, I've only had one team so far.
Fun to be around. Hopefully.
Will listen to criticism.
Can maincall.
You:
Stable lineup (Apart from in the case of new teams, which I'm happy to trial for)
I'd like to go div4, but good fun div5 teams are good too.
Mumble is a must, server is a bonus.
Gogogo!

nice guy in mumble, constantly improving as a medic, and i heard he plays sc2 a bit?
Good Luck Zeal. Merced for his team 2 or 3 times. Nice guy. Will do well in Div 4.
Pokémon? nice
Will do very well in div5/4. Epic guy, helped me beat OwnagePie at SC2, raped me at Minecraft, overall a complete legend. Epic addition to any team!
the most amazingest person ever
hes a good player, and a good laugh in mumble. just a shame he organises shit double mixes :3
What lolage said. Especially the last part :P
nice guy, can see him play at div 4 level, love healing little boys, good luck
a real nice guy to have around in mumble and a great medic as well. can definitely main call at a div4 level but sometimes zones out a bit and goes silent (probably our fault as a team as much as it is his though). gl zealos!
his double mixes are div7 though; we even lost a team member because of them. that’s just how bad they are.
good guy! pretty clear comms
Great medic and should fit into div 4 just fine.
As already mentioned his midnight double mixes are so fail that I refuse to participate.
Good luck!
has insane strafe warp teleport skills, never dies
this guy’s a keeper, should do good at div 4
Was gonna mention the warping too :D
Solid medic.
From the good times in TC pokemon, zealos was always in mumble for a good old chat and would try to get games as quickly as possible. AS for him playing medic, only seen him play it once but was very capable of keeping his team alive and dodging dem rockets. Definitely a good addition to any div5/4 team
if i had a pound for every time me and him have had “hugs” then i would have no money at all. come on man. just one time. please.
right ok. i was miss informed. i am posting on his tf2. very good. micro and macro. solid zerg player. really nice unit control.
right last try. tf2. go it this time. very solid medic. honest good calls. and an all round nice guy. take him now. before he takes me. P.S. due to legal issues he is no longer allowed around minors. but hopefully you can work around this.
Bumpp :D
– Lovely bloke
– Shit at SC2 but thinks he’s good, so humour him.
– Not a hipster
– Can’t jump to top on gully
– Reliable? Sometimes.
But yeah straight up, great guy. div4? I really wouldn’t be able to judge, as I haven’t seen him play for a while now.
<3
Definitely a good player, well up to the challenge, has 100 ping tho….
<3 Cunning
@ Phrozen, bad internet is old news now :DDD
I am going to tell you the cold hard truth about Zealos; Not a sugar coated penis enlargement post. A lot of the posts above me are made by people who have only played with him for one or two maps, some are by people who have never even played with him, only against him. I have had the privilege of being Zealos’s pocket soldier for an entire season and more. I have seen him develop from a clueless div6er in to the medic he is today.
First and formost hit ctrl-f and search the page for “nice guy”, do it. You’ll see that almost everyone has pointed out how amicable Zealos is, this goes hand in hand with his maturity to give him a personality you can’t help but be friends with.
Now on to his actual gameplay, Zealos plays a lot of SC2 (and i mean a lot.), so much so that his TF2 play time is minimal. He would rarely play outside of our usual pcwing times which isn’t really a problem, however it really restricts his ability to improve personally rather than just at teamplay and strategy execution. His actual medding skills are solid for division 4 but he struggles when the shit hits the fan and improvisation is needed. He doesn’t handle this well and would often go very quiet, which was an issue as he was the main caller.
It was no secret that i am a critic of Zealos’s maincalling. When things were good and we had momentum his agressive calls to continually push on every slight advantage were great and worked out really well. The problems came when the tide was against us or it was a close match. In my opinion Zealos’s main calls had no authority or confidence behind them, this lead to people not paying much attention to him then ultimately dying. Often it would take too long for Zealos to realise what we should be doing and so when the call came, it was too late.
Zealos is an asset to any team in the admin department, he never had difficulty in digging up trials for us or calling in other people to merc at the last moment. All of our matches were arranged with minimal fuss. He was always punctual, i can’t recall a single time when he has been late for anything.
In summary Zealos is an asset to any division 5 or divison 4 team and i hope that you give him a trial so that you can taste the Issac Grundy experience too.

To Tom, I would agree with a lot of that, and in terms of the my late time in pokemon, you’re 100% right, by the end I had seriously stopped enjoying tf2, and you guys are great outside of games and whatnot, but we weren’t getting on ingame so much anymore, and it affected the amount I played, and the level at which I played at, with the maincalling being affected moreso than anything. I lost my confidence by the end, and I felt I was being questioned a lot too, which help, and although over time, my knowledge in calling increased, I felt my maincalls got worse due to the lack of confidence in the team. I feel much better starting a fresh with my knowledge in maincalling, while having my confidence “reset” to a good level.
MAD
Pinky, why at u trolled?
I cleared with comment with Zealos before posting, We’re BFFs
I WANTED TO SAY THAT!!1
pinky is a maddie :DD
Yeah, no arguments between us :D
bump.
More or less what Tom said. Good player with potential. Could probably med@div4 if he goes keen. Didn’t seem to have much passion for TF2 towards the end of last season, but internet issues and roster trouble can erode that pretty quickly. He took on a lot of responsibility in calling/medic and I think sometimes the lack of experience and stress was quite detrimental. We didn’t exactly make it easy either though. Medics are the backbone and we relied a lot on him, both in game and for arranging matches. Sometimes we leaned too heavily and for most part I think he did all that could reasonably be expected of him.
Good luck with your search. Next time I play with/against you I hope I don’t see you warpin all aboot. ;)
Oh and he got a pretty nice airshot on me when playing gg200 once.
I thought it was GT200? o.O
Get this guy a team already! :P
<3 Hearts for bumps foundation <3
bump
Can’t play for the time being due to internet problems.
Great medic, could handle div 4 np, gets in a huff whenever I mention that my team did better than him in our div (TRY IGNORE ME, IT’S TROLLING)
tl;dr cool guy, div 4 med, pick him up
