Will these make any difference in mouse response or rate? because I noticed that some of my mobo’s usb ports are v1.1 and others are v2.0. Also, would that make usb v3.0 any different?

you will see no difference between 1/2, you might with 3 though since polling has gone out of the window. however, your mouse would have to be usb3 too, which it probably isn’t.

it’s not about data, it’s about polling. if you think this, i’m guessing you don’t understand the benefit of an interrupt-driven system for data input ;)

ie it’s not about data throughput, it’s about data latency
