Ok so basically what I’m looking for is a fast responding TFT-monitor size 22-24 to replace my old one with. I just started looking so im not sure what to go for yet but hoping that someone just had to make this decision and can give some input on ‘whats good’.

If your monitor is older than 8 months your review wont hold much bearing but otherwise any help is appriciated!:-) Pricerange isnt that relevant

Ones you might want to consider:

BenQ G2400w
Samsung 226bw (Make sure it’s got the samsung panel)
Iilyama E2201W (Make sure it’s the B1 and not the B2)
Iolair MB24W (This is frequently rebranded under some of the more well known manufacturers)

This is a good site to look at as it gives the delay compared to CRT as well as game rendering results:

Choose between two of those:
ASUS VW222U – I have this one, very good monitor, i would say top 3 of 22″
or this one Samsung T220 – Very good colors, fast response time.

Hey dats!

dont go for a 24″ monitor for gaming. they’re not too good.

also, i use my asus vw222u as a secondary monitor because it has shitty colors :P
I play on a 19″ widescreen Viewsonic, cant remember the model. But it’s excellent. 1680×1050 too which isnt too common for 19″ monitorzz.

Exoronic

well , i got a samsung 226BW with 2ms on resulotion 1680×1050 ( 22″ )
and its really great tbh.

it isnt the cheapest , but compared to the price it really gives the performance u need.

Shrapnel

Still on my trusty 21″ CRT but I’ve been looking at replacing it lately.
I’ve also got my PC hooked up to a 32″ HD ready TV but its a bit big for gaming and ghosts a bit.

Anyway check http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=2049206
(Scroll down to “Hardcore Gaming” section)

They recommend LG L227WT, claiming it has zero input lag:

You can buy one here:

And tell me if it’s any good :)

im gonna end up buying Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW, thanks for all the help and tips :)
that comparison site really kicked ass, and combined with recommendations the choice was rather easy for this autumn

The Samsung SyncMaster 931BW looks like a good choice

It has best colors, they are not so saturated, but saturation is manualy adjusted in you video card preferences, and after you adjust it, it has best colors, i would say even better then T220, wich is best of all 22″ Many monitors dont have proper colors, just check with tft monitor checker, you will see.
And iv tested like dozen of 22″ mons, 222u is best for the prise, and even equal to T220. iiyama is real shit, dont take it.

Well its not so bad, but not so good, for the price better take 222u, trust me you wont regret.

The LG L227WT will be my next LCD. Really good specs imho and even did really well in many tests so far.
