If you just opened the rar file you’re fine, if you tried to open one of the actual “images” you are potentially infected. Most antivirus software is somewhat useless ( http://www.av-comparatives.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/avc_fdt_201309_en.pdf ) and the only real guaranteed way to ensure you’ve gotten rid of a virus is to reinstall windows usually.

Doesn’t guarantee anything, legitimate processes can be hijacked. I wouldn’t trust my steam account / email / online banking / facebook / etc to that.
