Hello ETF2L

My PC was set to sleep mode but when i came back to it, it was running. It does that sometimes when an update occur while in sleep mode. I turned the monitor on and entered my password, but the desktop was black with a box saying “Windows explorer has stopped working”

Then i rebooted the PC, and this message occured on the launch:

“Preparing to configure Windows”, then goes to “Failure configuring, Reverting updates”‘

When i then type in my password it’s the same thing as before.

I would really appreciate some help on this, thanks!

It’s a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine.

Edit:
Things I’ve tried so far:

Rebooting many times
Editing reg keys in safe mode (social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/5b94b775-992e-4f48-b3ff-c89b3cf45e82/)
System restore from prior update points (getting some sort of error with all points)
Startup repair (did not find anything to repair)
